Get Involved

Mahatma Gandhi walked 300 km for 23 days in 1930 and picked up salt. Hundreds of thousands followed him, and the history of India was changed. Today, you do not have to walk 300 km. You do not have to pick up salt. Support Read India.

Hundreds of thousands will join you, and the history of India will be changed.
Once again!!!

The Read India program will cover 60 million children across 600 districts in India. This can be made possible only with the support of all stakeholders across the board - children, parents, teachers, officers and governments - to come together and bring about change on an unprecedented scale.

You can get involved in Read India, in many ways

a. Donate

You can help by making a donation of any amount, towards meeting the expenses of Read India. Although an unrestricted donation helps us makes the most judicious use of your donation, please do let us know if you would like us to direct your donation for a specific district or state. However, if the district of your choice has already been picked by another donor, we will use your donation towards another district.

All donations will be received by Pratham India and remitted for the Read India program.
